Jason P. Zielewicz M.S., NREMT-P 
Mr. Zielewicz is a founding partner for EMERGE Public Safety, LLC. He is a nationally registered paramedic that has been involved in public safety for more than 16 years.
 
Mr. Zielewicz received his bachelor's degree in Applied Health with a minor in management (magna cum laude) from The Pennsylvania College of Technology (Pennsylvania State University Affiliate). He completed his Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from the University of St Francis.
 
Mr. Zielewicz currently serves as a career Paramedic Platoon Chief with Susquehanna Regional EMS in Williamsport, PA. Previously he served as a career EMS Supervisor/Instructor (Deputy Chief) at Penn State University Office of EMS. Duties at this position include supervision and planning of special events, event scheduling, consultation on preparedness for large events, coordination and direction of the PA state accredited EMS training Institute. Prior to accepting the position at PSU, he served as a paramedic full-time in the Lycoming County area. Jason has lectured on various topics in EMS and public safety at local and state events. Jason holds numerous EMS and fire instructor certifications. He is an instructor for the American Academy of Pediatrics, American College of Emergency Physicians, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The American Heart Association, PA EMS Instructor, and PA Fire Service 1.
 
Mr. Zielewicz serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Pennsylvania College of Technology's Paramedic Program. Within the Paramedic Program at Penn College, he also serves as the Pre-Paramedic Program Specialist instructing international students in Emergency Medical Services. He has served as an accomplished coordinator for numerous EMS programs at various community colleges and a major university. He is also an adjunct faculty member for Harrisburg Area Community, Bucks County Community College and an Affiliate Instructor for the Pennsylvania State University, College of Health and Human Development.
 
Mr. Zielewicz has received several awards for outstanding service, including the Dennis R. Dougherty Award for Prehospital Excellence. Jason has also completed research on Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP) Effectiveness in the Prehospital Environment. This work was featured at the Pennsylvania Department of Health & Pennsylvania Emergency Health Services Council's State EMS Conference.
 
Mr. Zielewicz frequently reviews EMS and Homeland security textbooks for Brady/Prentice Hall publisher's.
